Q. Is the EBSCO search engine down? I have been unable to access it so far this semester. I receive the message that 'A system problem has occurred.
It seems that the Ebsco vendor is telling us that this has something to do with how cookies are being stored by the Internet browser you are using, since this is happening with many of our students; and it is not a vendor issue or a proxy server issue on our side. So I would suggest that before you try to use Ebscohost again or Britannica, try to clear all the cookies cache on your computer and then try to go to the portal and do your searches again.
