I recently requested two articles via the interlibrary loan. I've never used this feature and am unsure how it works.

Answer

Once you submit an ILL request, it is received by our ILL Librarian. The ILL Librarian will make the request for you but it might take anything from seven to ten days to get the article. If your article is received you are notified via email that it has arrived by our ILL Librarian. If it is received electronically from another library, it will be emailed to your OU address. if it is received in paper, it maybe scanned to your email or a physical copy may be sent to you in the mail.  If you have any questions at any time during the ILL process please contact Jan Lee at ill@ottawa.edu or call her at 785-248-2535.
