Q. I am writing a research paper on the importance of donating blood. I am having trouble finding the required five references from peer reviewed
We have many medical databases in Ebscohost. What you might have to do with your topic search is try different terms until you find articles that meet your needs for writing this paper. In Ebscohost I combined three databases by making a check mark next to each and then clicking continue. I checkmarked the following databases: Alt Health Watch, Consumer Health Complete, Medline and Cinahl Nursing. Before entering terms go to the limiters below the search box and check the scholarly and peer-reviewed articles and full-text boxes. Then you can enter your search in the search box. I tried out a few terms in Ebscohost. I entered the search terms: blood donation AND importance and found 12 articles. I tried another search blood donation AND need and got 36 full-text articles. You might try replicating my searches. if you do not find what you want for your paper, then continue to try different terms and watch the terms offered to you by the database when you enter your own (it usually tries to provide terms for you too, let it guide you as you search).
