I am writing a research paper on disparities among asthmatic children. Can you please help me find reference material?

Answer

Hello Tammy

I presume that you are not looking for Reference Resources, but insteead, full-text peer-reviewed articles from our databases for your paper. If you are looking for something different then please email me back and I will help you with this further. For full-text, peer-reviewed articles, please go to the Myers Library Online Page after logging into the OU Portal with your OUID and password. Look for the Online Library Databases Link on the right hand side of the page and find the Ebscohost database. In Ebscohost look for your medical databases for example, you can combine several databases to find articles. Click the check box next to the following databases: Cinahl FT, Medline, Alt Health Watch, Health Source Consumer and Health Source Nursing and click continue. You will then see a search box, below it look for the limiters box, look for peer-review and scholarly articles check boxes and then put in your search terms. You can try different search terms until you find what you believe you would need for your paper. I have started with  differences AND asthma AND children and I found 602 results. You can replicate my search or you can try other synonym terms until you find some results.

If you have any further questions about finding resources for your paper email me back or call me at the number below.
