Economics Research Paper Sources
Our course assignment is to research a specific company how economics affected it and how they reacted.
The company I've chosen is Apple Inc. I've found some newspaper articles one what Apple has done, but it doesn't correlated to the economy. I also need several "scholarly" sources.
I'm not sure where the best place to search for this information is. Could you please recommend some databases or resources I could try?

You might go into Ebscohost on the Myers Library Online Page and choose the following databases Academic Search Premier, Business Source Premier Database, Small Business Reference Center and Regional Business News by checking them and then clicking on continue. Then in your search boc try Apple Inc AND economic downturn. If you combine Apple Inc. AND Economy and then check scholarly and peer-reviewed articles below. I did this search and only found 4 articles; but you could expand your search somewhat by trying different synonym terms of your own and trying those out.
It is also possible to get specific Company information about Apple by going to LexisNexis and entering Apple Inc. the Easy Search box called "Get company information". You would have a wealth of information there including closing stock prices, mergers, company news and reports that would be helpful for getting more information about the company and how it is currently faring when it comes to the economy.
If you click on Advanced Search in Lexis Nexis and in the large box, enter Apple Inc and Economy and limit your search "Specify date" to 3 months or even previous month; you might find some useful articles.
