Question: I have to do a research paper and the topic I chose to do is abortion. I need to find the stages of development in a fetus. What would be some good resources for doing so? Do you know of any good sources on the ottawa library website? I have been searching the databases but I am having a hard time finding anything. Please help.
Thank you.

Answer

Hello Jennifer

If you go into the online library, you should use the CQ Press Database to gather information for your topic. If you enter abortion as a term in the search box, you will find lots of information reports about this topic. If you click on the first report there is a chronology at the top of it that can be opened up that will provide you with information about what the issues are with regard to this topic; and arguments for and against it. For the fetus stages, I would put the terms stages of fetus development in CredoReference and you will find lots of reference information that will be helpful about these stages in the database.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
