Answer

Hello Jeffrey

Login and go to the Myers Library Page in the OU Portal and click on the online library databases page.  When you find ebscohost click the checkboxes next to the databases you want to combine. For your topic you can combine four databases or more. I have tried out a search for your topic and if you like you can replicate it. I searched across academic search premier; computer source; mass media & communication and social science index full-text by checking the boxes next to each and clicking continue. Before putting in search terms I went to the box below the search and limited it to scholarly and peer-reviewed articles by checking those boxes. Then I searched by using the terms you provided: social media AND security. I found 581 full-text articles. If you find that these are too many you can limit the search by date by moving the publication date line to 2008 in the left hand column or by limiting further to academic journals in the left hand colum; which brought my search items down to 283 full-text articles.

Let me know if you have any further questions for me regarding your search. You can contact me at the number below or email me back.
