I went to Ebscohost and searched combining Academic Search Premier and Social Science Index FT, I didn't find much when it comes to scholarly resources, although there were items about Liberian Music from trade publications. I went to Google Scholar and there are a few items if you combining African Music and Liberia. I also went to Google in general and found this link from the Smithsonian.

You might consider going to OCLC to look for books on this topic.
