EBSCOHost question

Hi,
Recently I have been unable to utilize certain articles that I find on EBSCOHost. I click on Full text finder and I get a result that says something like "there is a chance you might find this full text by clicking the link below." But that link then says something about getting through inter-library loan.
Am I doing something wrong? It is not every article. But it has been quite a few here lately.
THanks!

You are not doing anything wrong. When you get the message saying that there is a chance that the article is in Full-Text or that you need an ILL, that just means that the article you have found is an abstract and not in full-text in our databases. This happens quite a bit since several of our databases are not 100% full-text, and there are embargoes and other reasons why the article is not available. In that case it is up to you to decide if you want to go with another article or if you want to send a message to ILL@ottawa.edu if you need it because it is not in full-text in our databases. Also be sure that if you need an ILL article, you request it a week in advance of when it is needed because it can take a while to fill. Please note too that many are available on Google Scholar in full-text so if you don't find it in a database it is good to always check there before asking for an ILL.

Thanks
