I am looking for an academic journal article in full text. How am I able to access that if it is not readily available?

Treatment of Tinnitus With a Customized, Dynamic Acoustic Neural Stimulus: Underlying Principles and Clinical Efficacy. This is the article from Ebscho Discovery.

Answer

Hello Lisa

The article you want is available Medline as an abstract, but is unavailable as a full-text article in our databases.

If you want this article, please contact Jan Lee our Interlibrary Loan Librarian and she can request an Interlibrary Loan article for you. Her contact email address is jan.lee@ottawa.edu and her telephone number is 785-248-2535. Interlibrary loan articles can take anywhere from three days to a week to get for you, so please let her know the date by when you will need the article. If you need it today or tomorrow it is not possible to fill it that quickly, but you can talk with her about that because currently a storm is approaching Ottawa and there is a possibility that we will close tomorrow.

If you have any specific questions for her, please give her a call. She will need a student email address, telephone number and personal address, since we can usually acquire most interlibrary loan articles free of charge for you, and those articles you can keep, however please be aware that there have been times when there was a cost and she would be able to let you know about that once she has started the process for you and knows who will provide the article to you.

Thanks

Gloria Creed-Dikeogu, Director of Library Services for Ottawa University
