Hello! I'm a new online Masters in Counseling student at Ottawa, and I have a question: where might I look to find Research Articles written about the effects of incorporating Meditation in Substance Abuse Treatment?

Thanks for your email. Please login to myottawa.ottawa.edu and go to the Myers Library Online Page. On that page go to the Online Databases link on the right hand side. Once in the databases, go to Ebscohost and combine the following databases by clicking the checkmark box next to each: PsycArticles, Social Science Index Full-Text, Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection, Cinahl FT, Consumer Health Complete, Medline, Health Source Nursing and Academic Search Complete and then click continue. Then you will see a search box. In the search box enter: substance abuse AND treatment AND meditation. In the limit your search section in the green boxes below the search box, please click on the full-text and scholarly(peer-reviewed). Then click your search.  I did the search in Ebsco and found 110 full-text articles. You are welcome to replicate my search. You can limit your results further by reading the abstracts and choosing articles that would best fit your paper.
