Your topic is extremely broad, before searching I would consider narrowing it eg. parent involvement benefits AND >>>>>> (you choose the other topic). I cannot ascertain whether this is an education topic or a psychology topic...?
I would suggest going to the Ebscohost database. If you are doing one involving education I would suggest combining two databases: Academic Search Premier and Education Research Complete. If it is a psychology search, then try: Academic Search Premier and PsychArticles.
Once combining your searches by making a checkmark in the boxes next to the databases and clicking continue. Becore entering yout search terms look below the search box for the search limiters and checkmark both Scholarly and Peer-Reviewed articles. Then enter your search in the search box.
