Where might I find research on Peripheral Arterial disease stage 4-what it is, what are the causes, and treatments, etc?
Answer
We have several nursing and medical databases in our Ebscohost package. You might start my combining the following databases in Ebsco before clicking continue: Academic Search Premier, Cinahl, HealthSource Nursing/Academic and Medline. Before searching go to search options and limit your search to Full-text and Scholarly but checking the boxes next to them. Since you are going to search Medline, there is a high probability that even though you are asking for full-text you are going to find abstracts. If this happens; and there is something you want us to order for you on interlibrary loans, please don’t hesitate in contacting our ILL Librarian, Jan Lee at jan.lee@ottawa.edu and she should be able to get you the articles in a few days. Usually it doesn’t cost you anything and you would be able to keep the copy of an article.
I did a search using the databases I mentioned and the terms you supplied and changed it by combining Peripheral Arterial disease AND stage 4 with one another and I got 34 results; quite a number of them in full-text. If you just use the terms Peripheral Arterial disease stage 4 and do not combine them with AND you will find 25 results. You might try replicating my searches in the databases and see what you find.
