Can I gain access to DSM-5

If it is available, where and how do I gain access to it?

Answer

Hello Rebecca

If you are on the Ottawa Campus, the DSM 5 is available in book format behind the Circulation/Reference desk. If you have a question about it you are welcome to stop by my office. If you are on the Main campus you should be able to check it out as a three hour loan. if you are not on the Main Campus  and would like us to make a copy of a few pages that you may need and fax scan them to you, I would be willing to do so. Please give me a call at 785-248-2536 and I can help you find the information you need in the DSM-V.

I recently sent a message to faculty at the various sites about our not having the DSM-V in full-text in our databases; asking them to purchase a copy for the students at their sites. So if you are at one of the sites you have to options: either you can contact the faculty member in the Psychology department on your campus to ask them if they have purchased a copy or you can contact me and I can help you find the information you need in our copy.

You are very welcome just to call me and I can fax scan the pages you need to you today if necessary. Just let me know what it is that you need.
