When it comes to John S. Davis; he is always referred to as "Sap" but his middle name is never given anywhere in our yearbooks except on our graduation list. He graduated from Ottawa University with a Sc. B degree in June 1922, and is listed as John Solomon Davis. He started to work at Ottawa University in 1927 and not 1928. He is listed as a coach and a member of the faculty at OU from 1927-30. (Please find .pdf's attached above. The first is from the OU Bulletin 1922-23 and the second is from The Ottawan 1930).
