Are stricter sentences imposed on blue collar criminals than affluent white collar criminals?

Where would I begin to search for information? I searched in Lexis Nexis, EBSCOHOST, and BOJ.gov
Any suggestions of other places?

I might combine several databases in Ebscohost to do this search. If you combine dabases such as Social Science Index FT and the two Psychology databases that are in ebscohost, PsychArticles and Psychology and Behavioral databases then you would have a better chance at finding articles about Criminal Justice and Law topics. LexisNexis is a good idea too, but with that database and Ebscohost you would have to try different combinations of terms. I did a search using Blue Collar workers AND White Collar Workers AND sentencing and found 4 articles. When limiting the articles to full-text and peer-review I only found 3 articles. Expanding my search to include the Academic Search Premier and Legal database I found seven articles when I did not make them full-text so that means that there are three more articles available that we could get for you on ILL if you needed them (contact jan.lee@ottawa.edu) for those.
