Where can I find statistics from the Dept. Of Transportation on road rage incidents?

Also, I am finding alot of articles, and a few books pertaining to road rage, I am trying to write a research paper, and the articles from recent incidents in NY, and PA are headliners, but I still need a lot of factual data. I have gotten information relating to Psychiatric and emotional state, but can you direct me any further?
I would appreciate it!

Thanks!

Hi James

We have a database called ProQuest Statistical Insight. If you go to section 23 Transportation there is statistics about accidents. I tried searching for road rage but I did not find that it was called that. You might look and see the stats available in this database.

I went to our 2 ebook collections in Ebscohost and found 11 books on the road rage AND United States topic; but I found 40 ebooks on the topic when I just put in the road rage search.

Here is the link to the US Department of Transportation but I did not see any statistics on road rage accidents per year. There are strange sites like reports about road rage, cars driven where road rage happens the most, but you might try this site below and see if you can find any. If not I would call the number and ask where you might find this. Maybe one or two of the books I mentioned might have statistics, you will have to look through them online.

Hope this helps.
