OU Campus was originally duty of Prof. Frank Hamblin in 1884

·       1884 newspaper was published 4 times a year (Oct, Dec, Mar, June)

·       1887 six assistants and the editor in chief ran the newspaper

·       1000 copies were being produced

·       Under President Colgrove in 1892 a smaller paper “OU Campus Souvenir” over the summer was published which was a combination of a newspaper and a literary journal

·       First electrotypes appeared in this newspaper; they were of pictures like Charlton Cottage and the Newspaper staff

·       College Press Association was founded
