Where on the online database can I get more information about obesity. Such as maybe websites? I am having a hard time coming up with info about
Answer
Hello Ashley
The online databases are not going to provide you with websites about your topic. If you are wanting to find scholarly websites, then I would suggest that you go to Google Scholar as your search engine. If you want to use a database for your search then you can go to our OCLC First Search database and put obesity in the search box as a subject, and limit your search to internet sites. You will find many good scholarly sites that are acceptable websites on the topic. However if you do want a good background for your topic and a timeline and pros and cons on the topic of obesity, then the best database to use to find information would be CQ Researcher.
The online databases like Ebscohost, will not provide you with website information. Instead, if you search for your subject then you will get thousands of full-text articles on the topic and it would then make sense to combine your subject with other related topics so that you can limit the articles you do find e.g. obesity AND diabetes or obesity AND adolescents.
Let me know if you have any further questions about your research topic.
