research information on the growth of softball as a sport

I am working on a marketing plan analysis and I need research information on the growth of softball as a sport, annual reports for major manufactures such as Worth Sports, Easton Sports, DeMarini Sports, Louisville Slugger Sports, and Miken Sports, and finally in trade or publications for the sport.

If you go to Gale Business Insight Global you can do a search using "softball" or "baseball". I found 3 softball companies and 47 baseball company information in the database. The database has industry reports, comparisons of industry reports. company reports and market share reports. I don't believe you should have a problem finding company information. I did a quick search on DeMarini, Miken and Louiville Slugger and found company information on those in that database. There is also the possibility to search using NAICS Codes for the Sports Industry. Spectator sports is 7112 and Sports teams and clubs is 711211 which might be of help to you.
