I need help finding a scholarly journal about william shakespeare

Answer

Hello Kathrine

If you go to the Periodicals A to Z link first and enter the term "Shakespeare" you will find the online journals we have in full-text on this topic. So go to this link below and paste it into your browser. To open it you have to login with your OUID and Password into the portal. So if you click the link below it will prompt you for a login. You will find that there are 4 very specific online journals on Shakespeare and if you click on any of them it will take you right into the databases. If you follow the links you will be able to find full-text articles about this topic. I would use "Shakespear Studies" and go into Academic Search Premier to find those full-text articles.

This is the link from Periodicals A to Z

http://atoz.ebsco.com.lib.ottawa.edu/Titles/SearchResults/658?SearchType=0&Find=shakespeare&GetResourcesBy=QuickSearch&resourceTypeName=journalsOnly&resourceType=1&radioButtonChanged=

If you are needing to search for a specific Shakespeare topic e.g. Macbeth, then go to Ebscohost and combine Literature Resource Center and Academic Search Premier and you should find full-text articles on your topic. If you limit them below the search box to full-text and peer-review before your conduct your search they will be scholarly. The actual link to Periodicals A to Z page is on the Myers Library Online Page below the link for the Online Library Databases on the right hand side of the page.
