journal access

journal access
Is it possible that we can gain access to Sage Journals and Journal of Law, Medicine, and Ethics? I could really use some of their publications in my research papers... specifically this article.

Answer

Hello Victoria

I have emailed the article you are looking for on to you and you should have it now in your email. Here is the follow-up email that I said I would be sending you.

To find out if the Gangwish library has access to a full-text of journal do the following:

1. Go to myottawa.ottawa.edu and login with your OUID and password

2. Go to the Gangwish Library Page

3. Click on the link for FullText Finder on the right hand side of the library page

4. Enter the Journal title in the text box and click return

5. If we have the journal in full-text it will list the databases where it can be found and the years we have it available in those databases.

Here is the link to the Journal you asked about. We  do have access to it through different databases but you have to determine which year and volume number and series you need. so you can decide which database link to use to go in and find it

Once you do that, click on the year, then the volume number and series number and you can go to it and find the full-text.

If it is not available or If it is embargoed, since some journals have a year long embargo, then email us for an Interlibrary loan at ill@ottawa.edu
