I have material from a training manual that I would like to cite in my research paper, but manuals are not listed in the APA 7th edition. Are manuals an acceptable source for our paper? If so, which reference format should I use?

Training Manuals are the same as books. They should be acceptable if they are created by a well known training company in your field. You would just use the same APA format that you use for citing books. Unless of course, the manual is available as an ebook ro or online; in that case you would look on the site for how to cite electronic sources.
