Answer
Hello Karen
You will need to save your references to a diskette because you would need to create a seperate account inside Ebscohost to be able to save your references online. It is far safer to save on a personal diskette because students have often lost information when creating their own files on Ebscohost and we were unable to help them. The ottawau and gibby passwords are emergency passwords and ids that can only be used when there are problems accessing Ebscohost. Other than that you should not be using them. You need to go to the Online databases through the Gangwish Library Page and when you click on Online Databases you do not need another id and password to get to Ebscohost, since to get to that stage you would already have to be logged in with your OUID and password. If the latter does not work then that is something to speak to your advisor about at the OU site where you are studying. Another option would be to send a message to the OU 24/7 desk to have them verify your OUID and password. I am afraid the library is unable to do that or to fix an OUID or password, since that is something only IT and the Registrar's Office can do for you.
If you consider this not to be an OUID Problem, call me and I can help you search for the scholarly articles you need.
